We have an abundance of FREE resources for you to take home and enjoy with the following loan periods:
- Books and Audiobooks – 21 days
- E-books and E-audiobooks – 21 days with CloudLibrary and 14 days with Libby
- Fiction DVDs/Blu-rays, Videogames – 4 days
- Nonfiction DVDs/Blu-rays, TV Series – 21 days
- Special Collections (Play Kits, Activity Kits, Launchpads, Playviews) – 21 days
- Park Passes, Toronto Zoo passes and Wye Marsh passes–3 days
- Magazines – 21 days
- Puzzles and Board Games – 21 days
Renewals happen automatically; however, you can call to renew over the phone (2 times) or emailing library@penetanguishenepl.ca

You never have to worry about having your library card on hand in the library. You can easily place holds, remove holds, manage your account and your children(s) accounts all on our library app!
To download the app visit the Google Play or App store and search, “Simcoe County Libraries”.
We want the library to be a stress-free place for you! If you have lost your card you can download the Library App (see Library App in FAQ menu) and the first time you log into your account it will always remember you. We can then scan your ‘card’ from your phone in the library! If you would like a physical card replacement there is a cost of $5 for a new card.
If you forgot your pin to access your online account, we default it to the last four digits of your telephone number on your account when you sign up. Alternatively, you can always contact us during open hours and we would be happy to help!
