Garbage Tags
You can purchase garbage tags at Penetanguishene Library.
Tags are sold as a group of 5 tags for $20.
On collection day, put a tag around the top of the bag and set it next to your big garbage bin.
Dog Tags
Dog tags for Town of Penetanguishene residents are available at the Library.
Tags help ensure your pet can be identified and safely returned if lost.
Proof of current rabies vaccination from a qualified veterinarian is required to purchase a dog tag.
Please bring your dog’s vaccination certificate with you when you visit the Library.

Fire Permits
Open Air Burning Permits
Residents can obtain Open Air Burning Permits through the Library.
To apply, you must provide:
Proof of property ownership, and
Valid government-issued photo ID.
Tenants may obtain a permit if they have written permission from the property owner.
Landlord permission forms are available at the Library and must be completed before a permit can be issued.

Link Passes and Transit Bus Passes
The Library offers Link passes and transit bus passes for local and regional travel.
Passes can be purchased during regular library hours. Staff can help you choose the pass that best fits your travel needs and provide information about routes, schedules, and fares.
